Resounding Walls

International Symposium on Electronic Arts: ISEA 2018

Sound Art Installation, Site Specific

Resounding Walls was composed of a series of sound art compositions that were created through field recordings of the city of Durban, followed by a range of dynamic processing in the form of repurposing, synthesis and micro sampling. The work was exhibited as a site-specific sound art installation at the Durban Harbour, under the curatorial theme of Sampling and Repurposing. Each sound art composition forms a dispersed sonic network of the city that draws from its unique sonic events.
